The Comanche Jaycee Wives Club met February 28 with Laura Adcock presiding. Cathy Johnson gave the invocation as officers and standing committee chairs reported. Volunteers were sought for Easter Seal mail-outs and staff for free vaccination events, with plans to begin in late March. Frances Isham spoke on floral arrangement principles and demonstrations. Refreshments were provided by Janice Swearengin and Brenda Seabic.

T E McGlothlin 42 a Comanche County native died February 22 in Orlando Florida. Services were held February 8 at Oak Lawn Chapel with Rev James Mc Glothlin and Rev Eugene Prevo officiating. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Danny Goldstein Woody Balch A J Manis James Gann Roy Gann Bobby Williams all of Mineral Wells. He was born February 18 1930 in Comanche to Eugene Dennis and Verlin Cox McGlothlin. He married Carolyn Millikan September 10 1951 in Roswell New Mexico. A mechanic in the automobile industry he lived in Orlando about six years. He is survived by his wife two sons Leonard Eugene and Louis Dean all at home three daughters Norma Jean Patricia Sue and Brenda Gail Nowak of Mineral Wells parents Dennis and Verlin McGlothlin of Comanche two brothers Curtis in Navy and Dale of Mineral Wells a sister Karlene Hall Meridian and paternal grandmother Mrs E T Moore Comanche.
