Sidney man makes first registered Ayrshire purchase
E. M. Bartlett of Sidney bought one registered Ayrshire cow as noted by Ayrshire Breeders Association Executive Secretary Chester C. Putney of Brandon. The National Office in Brandon records all registered Ayrshires since 1875. Ayrshires are valued for low cost milk and 4 percent butter fat, gaining popularity among dairy men nationwide.
