Flags Fly Daily At The Chief In Patriotism On Flag Day
Townspeople enjoyed Flag Day as The Chief pledged to fly the national flag daily weather permitting. The note recalls numbers in Israel's army from the Book of Numbers and reflects on patriotism and opportunity. Local weather chatter credits the U. S. Corps of Engineers for reports from Lake Proctor and thanks L G McAnally. Two local fishermen Marshall Meyers and Odell Woody Ormsby share tales of bass and catfish at nearby lakes.
