The Comanche Independent School District approved May bills and heard auditor Henry Colyer’s report detailing fund balances across Maintenance, Interest and Sinking, Title I, Lunchroom, Transportation, Athletic, and Activities. Short and long term indebtedness were reported, with adjustments to the annual budget and bids planned for kitchen equipment. The board approved summer staffing, transfers of students, and a plan with Jayees for football concessions, plus tax collection figures and 1971 rolls remaining balance.
