Higginbotham Firms Mark 12 Years in Comanche Trade
The Higginbotham brothers, now in business in Comanche for 12 years since 1901, run stores across the region with strong credit to farmers, low prices, and extensive newspaper advertising. Sheriff Jack Cunningham, a Hamilton County native, traces family roots to Captain James Cunningham who helped organize the county. Judge G. H. Goodson, a veteran lawyer, rose from early politics to established law practice and partnerships with Judge Lindsey and later Herbert N. Goodson.
