Mrs Brenda Northcutt and her daughter Mrs Lester Stockridge arrived in Comanche May 2 with two grandchildren Darlene and Larry to attend the Northcutt Reunion. They were greeted by Mrs Wyvonne Makwold and family. Dick McGuire and family joined from California and Bridgeport. Mrs Northcutt left May 6 with her daughter, while Mrs Makwold and family returned to Minneapolis.
Pvt Bobby J Thompson, son of Mr and Mrs L W Thompson Blanket, serves with the 4th Infantry Division STRAC unit in Exercise Dy Hills at Yakima Firing Center Washington. The drill ends May 23. He joined the Army in 1958 and trained at Fort Hood after graduating Blanket High School in 1955.

East Side Baptist Church in Comanche plans a Vacation Bible School with a 3 pm May 29 parade and daily sessions from 8 to 11 am Monday through Friday.
