Transplant Magnolias At Full Bloom For Best Take
Garden note advises transplanting magnolias only when in full bloom to ensure recovery. Protect root bark when planting and avoid trampling the soil. Remove faded flowers, sow quick growing annuals in bare areas, and wait to remove bulb foliage until it yellows to aid next year’s growth. Prune rambling roses and wisterias after blooming and divide irises after they flower.
