The Lions Club met at the high school lunchroom with 30 attendees. W J Parks Troy Marshall and G B Moore presented a film Better Than Kings about electricity. Nominating Committee announced officers to take office July 1 Herbert Goodson president Floyd Prather first VP Howell Cobb second VP Dr H H Galbraith third VP Robert Eaton Lion tamer Dale Biggs tail-twister William G Parker secretary-treasurer New directors Bill Dudney and P T Galiga Carry-over directors Boyd Anthony Earl Oden Retiring president John Jolink becomes director Next meeting June 8 at Lake Eanes Park with farmers and ranchers and wives. Final meeting June 22 for installation committee led by Howell Cobb and Bill Dudney J F Hallmark assisting.
