Memorial Day Fires Mar Comanche Homes
Two residential fires disrupted the Memorial Day in Comanche. A small frame house on W Summit Ave and its contents were destroyed, owner B Y Webb insures none, occupant W R Bonner was away. A second blaze at 307 N Houston St caused about $150 damage from a hot water heater. Bonner, longtime CVFD member, received community aid via KCOM and remains grateful for the generous response.
