Ben Evridge Fabric Center’s Rise in Comanche
Ben Evridge, longtime Comanche resident and former WWII sailor, built a fabric center in 1946 after selling a department store. The store, nicknamed Fashion by the yard, gained a reputation for first line name-brand fabrics as home sewing grows. He is married to Deana Lane with a daughter and three grandchildren.
