Farm Safety Week Promoted by 4 H and Officials
Sue Collins and W M Day lead a 1 H safety demonstration urging safer farm practices as National Farm Safety Week runs July 18 25. The National Safety Council and U S Department of Agriculture cite 12000 yearly farm deaths and about a million injuries with ignorance and carelessness as major causes. Comanche County 4 H teams display posters with local business support and endorsements from President Eisenhower and other farm groups.
