188 Animals Bring $24 521.20 At Annual Junior Livestock Show Sale
Darlene Williams a ten year old Sidney 4 H member and daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Williams showed the Grand Champion Commercial Steer at the local Junior Livestock Show. The steer sold for 70 per cwt at the auction Friday night helping the sale total reach 24 521 20 for 188 head sold. Top buyers included Higginbothams Comanche National Bank and Fincher Feed with Mr Williams steer and other prize animals producing several high prices across multiple breeds. The event drew a large crowd with many local businesses and individuals purchasing animals and supporting the program.
