Local kindness and reflections from a Texas riband
A woman thanks a neighbor for a Christmas sign on wood. A fire-damaged dairy barn in Erath County prompts a neighbor to bale and deliver 15 acres of hay. A Stephenville to College Station driver helps a stranded student with a hose and installation. Rev. Vic Allen sermonizes on Bible solace amid world turmoil. The piece reviews Nixon era race politics, Powell’s seat, and lunar mission pride, ending with musings on the moon’s influence and Texas rabbit decline.
