Lunchroom Supervisors Attend Demonstration Meeting
On Thursday January 14 CHS lunchroom staff paused the closing of facilities to attend a food demonstration in the Eastland High School cafeteria. Sponsored by Eastland Independent School District and the Texas Education Agency School Lunch section, presenters were Mrs. Lila Kay of Austin and Mrs. Laverne Wingate of Eastland. Attendees from Comanche included Mesdames Effie Wheat, Bessie Brown, Flora Nichols, Fay Davis, Winnie Coleman, Eula Coulter and Artis Rachels.
