Resolutions by 4-H Winners Highlight 1961 Success
Charles Lehmann of La Grange and Felix Mote of Decatur earned year end honors in Texas 4-H. Lehmann won a top tractor award and a paid trip to the 40th National 4H Club Congress in Chicago while learning to overhaul engines in a machine shop. Mote, first dog care and training winner, received a 19 jewel wrist watch for teaching his spaniel six commands and four tricks. The Comanche County Quartet Convention is set for De Leon Primitive Baptist Church Sunday at 2 PM.
