Homer L Stewart died at his home on 613 Ann Avenue Das last Friday morning of a cr judicial affection. His remains were brought here for interment and were buried in Oakland Cemetery after a large crowd of sorrowing friends and relatives followed. Born December 25 1877 in Georgia he was 36 years old. He resided in Dallas two years working in real estate with N L Jackson formerly of Comanche. Survived by a wife seven children and both parents and siblings all reside in the county except his immediate family.
J L Quicksall U S agricultural department representative visited Bibb farm on a test feed project. He observed steers hogs and silage performing well and said a detailed report will follow for readers.
Judge J H McCleary once of San Antonio and former Texas Attorney General died at a Washington military hospital. Funeral at Arlington Wednesday with services by Masonic leaders. He served in the Confederate army, Texas legislature, and as Territorial judge. He was named Associate Justice of Puerto Rico by McKinley and died after visiting his son Lieutenant Sam H McCleary.
Judge McCleary, brother of Mrs. T L Hutchinson of Comanche, dies leaving four children and a son in the U S Army aviation corps. He formed a Porto Rico law firm with his nephew McCleary Hutchinson in 1901 after moving there in 1899 and served in Theodore Roosevelt s Spanish American War.

Boren of the Western Union Telegraph Co and Miss Pau line Bailie of San Antonio were married at the Methodist church in Stephenville at 8:30 p m They visited Comanche and Mr Arthur's home for a short stay The groom is described as a quiet gentleman and well regarded The bride is noted as coming from Ranger and well wished for a happy future together.
Aaron Cunningham aged 78 died at his West Main Street home on Saturday January 3rd and was buried Monday at 3 PM in the old Alb in cemetery. Rev. E M Moore and Rev Arch Lewis conducted services with Masonic Lodge rites. pallbearers included John Bryson and other longtime friends. He was an early Texas settler born in Alabama April 8 1836 who came to Texas in 1839 and lived in Travis Williamson Comanche and finally settled on Mountain Creek near Newburg. He married Minerva Montgomery in 1860 producing nine children and later married Mrs William Henson in 1884 producing five more. He leaves many siblings and a large extended family with ties to Comanche and Stephenville.
