VA says service connected veterans have under five months to apply for a new form of GI insurance. Final deadline is midnight May 2 1966. WWII and Korea veterans who did not buy GI insurance or dropped it may qualify if they have a service connected disability. Eligibility does not require current VA compensation. Mr and Mrs Gary Don King announce the birth of their daughter Cynthia Ann on December 16 at De Leon Municipal Hospital weighing 8 pounds 13 ounces. This is the couple’s second child with a sister Donna Sue. Grandparents are Ogden and Mary Fritts and Leonard and Mary King. The family resides at 3044 N Pine.
Delta Lambda chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha held its Christmas party on December 15 at Golden Arrow Cafeteria with a turkey dinner. Members traveled to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Turner for the tree, gift exchange, and selecting the year’s secret pal. Husbands drew numbers for gifts, then refreshments followed.
