Six hurt in Highway 16 crash near Priddy
A Monday night crash on State Highway 16 north of Priddy injured six Comanche County residents. Three pickups were involved. two were parked on the shoulder when Homer Cox’s northbound vehicle struck the Tupin pickup. Olga Cox and Gary Tupin were among the most seriously hurt, with injuries ranging from critical to minor.

Howard Drennan announced Friday his bid for a one year term on the Comanche Independent School District board of trustees. The seat opened after Bill Blue’s resignation. Drennan, 45, lives with his wife Ann and daughter Teresa at 209 North Ervin. He is a former Container Corpora tion press man and Frozen Food Lockers employee, farms 125 acres of peanuts, and runs cattle on 180 acres. He has two years on the Tax Equalization Board and served in the Air Force. The election is April 2 with final filing March 2.
