Fish Stocking To Resume For Farm Ponds In Texas
Charlies W. Ragan, Hatchery Manager at Burnet, says spring distribution of largemouth bass bluegill catfish and受 will begin in April or early May under qualified supervision. Open federal waters and farm ponds receive first stock with state waters next and leftovers go to non public waters. Comanche County farmers can obtain stocking information and blanks from the SCS office in De Leon or the County Agent in Comanche. Ponds one acre or larger are stocked with species specifics.
