Frances Vaughan Parker’s masters thesis proposes a bio of Hill, drawing on Hill’s work, letters, and a 1901 Black and Grand Prairies geology report. A map, catalog of Hill’s Texas studies, and a 666 page reference anchor future scholarship.

UT medical school chairman to address Erath County unit
Dr. Roger D. Williams of University of Texas Medical School Galveston will speak to the Erath County Unit of the American Cancer Society at 8 p.m. Tuesday February 14 in Tarleton State College Stephenville. The talk titled Cancer and Polyps of Colon and Rectum will be open to residents of the region. Dr. Williams, a Duke graduate and former Ohio State surgeon, served in the U.S. Navy and Korea, later joining UT Medical Branch in 1965.
