Gustine gains a new grocery store opened by Reverend D D Gilmore in the west half of the new J P B Lee Building. He will offer a complete line of staple and fancy groceries.
The Commissioners Court of Comanche County invites bids from banks or bankers for County Depository for a two year term beginning March 11 1929. Bids must show interest rate and be accompanied by a certified check equal to 1 2 of 1 percent of the preceding year. Deliver sealed proposals to County Judge W T House by 10 am March 11 1929.
State of Texas Comanche County to the creditors of Piggly Wiggly Comanche Texas You are hereby notified that C L Garrett Jr of Comanche County on the 10th day of January A D 1929 executed a deed of assignment conveying to the undersigned all of his property for the genannten debt settlement and asset transfer.
Notice states creditors may consent to a proportional share of the estate and release the debtor. The assignee has qualified to administer the trust from Comanche Texas. Creditors must file written consent within four months and file claims within six months from the notice date. Witnessed January 10, 1929 by Trustee W. F. Kemp.
