The Commissioners Court of Comanche County Texas invites banking corporations associations or individuals to bid for county and district fund depository contracts. A meeting at 10 00 A M on February 14 1949 will review applicants who meet Title 47 Chapter 2 Vernons 1925 Civil Statutes requirements.
R L Hickey longtime Erath County resident and father of C C Hickey, local manager of Southwest Natural Gas in Comanche, died January 15. Funeral services were held January 16 at First Baptist Church Dublin with interment at Dublin Cemetery. Survived by widow Ada, daughter Mrs Tudor of Dallas, five sons Guilford Harold R L Jr Cecil James, five sisters and four brothers.
