Mrs. Sarah Catherine Lowe Emert dies after a long life of devotion and service. Born March 21, 1842 in Sevier County Tennessee she raised a large family in Texas and supported relatives during the Civil War era. She joined first the Baptist then the M E church and remained a faithful member. G E Emert took the body to Middle Creek Tennessee for burial and the family receives sympathy for the loss of a Christian mother and community matriarch.
