Pastor Dr W B Cray of the Church announces New Year Communion services next Sunday at 11 AM. The Adult Class will study the Book of Acts with the pastor teaching the first two chapters as the initial lesson.
Central Christian Church announces Bible School Communion and preaching each Sunday at ten. No mid week or evening service. This Sunday's sermon topic is How To Have A Happy New Year by Pastor C. C. Klingman.
Reporter notes Sunday School occurs every Sunday at Victory Church with services also open to all. Pastor Roger Smith leads the congregation and invites everyone to attend.
The Indian Creek congregation asks members to attend Sunday services on January 2 and bring a guest. A noon meal will follow with time for socializing, and at 2 30 pm the last sermon of the day will be preached by Rev. R T Wallace. The public is invited.

Georgianna Masters of San Antonio spent the holidays with her mother on East Central. She is a student nurse in the Medical and Surgical Hospital and has passed her mid term exams. Student nurses are being transferred from the hospital into military training for the duration of the course. The program allows completion in 24 years.
