County Hit By Ice Storm
The worst ice storm in years struck Comanche County coating roads with ice and bringing down utility lines and tree limbs. Long distance phone service was out four days and rural areas lost electricity for several days as crews from the Electric Cooperative worked around the clock to restore service.
