Kids Save Free Holiday Movie At Majestic Theater

A free holiday movie shows Saturday afternoon at the Majestic Theatre with Santa appearances. Santa will also visit Comanche Square on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday before Christmas for festive events.

Santa Claus visits Comanche for three days of chats

The Chamber of Commerce invites children to meet Santa on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday on the square from 1 o clock to a later time before Christmas. Charles Marshall hosts a free movie at the Majestic Theatre with showtime at 2 o'clock on Saturday December 19th. Mothers are invited to bring children and enjoy last minute shopping on December 20th.

National Peanut Growers Group reports talks with Congress and USDA may yield a two year compromise plan. The proposal includes 12 percent annual acreage cuts, 70 percent parity within quota, unlimited production for crushing and export, and a snap back after two crop years. Indians and Maidens Compete in Granbury Tournament

Comanche Indians and Comanche Maidens travel to Granbury Thursday through Saturday December 18 to 20 for a basketball tournament. The Indians face Ma. Pearl in the first round with a 6 pm tip off Thursday and the Maidens at 4 30 pm. If the Indians win they would meet Baird at 10 30 am Friday and then a 7 30 pm Friday game against Alvarado or Cleburne. The Maidens draw Alvarado or Blum at 2 pm Friday or 4 30 pm Friday if they lose.
