Fort Worth Police Report Vehicle Found Parked On West Street
A 1936 Chevrolet owned by Sid Burton was found parked on West Street in Fort Worth on Monday. Shorty Gore of Comanche, in town for a federal grand jury duty, spotted the vehicle and alerted authorities. Sheriff Try St. Clair of Comanche said the car showed signs of recent continuous use but minimal damage.

Peter Schwartz retired businessman and father of Mrs Sol Hoffman of Comanche died suddenly of a heart attack in Dallas on Wednesday night. Mr and Mrs Hoffman and their children left Thursday to attend the funeral rites. Schwartz often visited Comanche and helped at Hoffmans Dept Store when the Hoffmans were away on vacation. Hoffman store will remain closed today.
