D. E. Nabers informs clerks of Comanche Baptist Association that Zion Hill hosts the gathering on August 28 and 29. He has mailed letters to churches and asks recipients to return their letters promptly for processing at the association meeting.

Comanche resident Golden Hope Jones is among about 500 candidates for the twenty-eighth annual North Texas State Teachers College summer commencement. The ceremony Saturday August 24 at the college athletic field will award Miss Jones a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.
