Comanche Old Settlers Reunion Set for August 14 at Lake Eanes Park
The Comanche County Old Settlers Reunion will be held Friday August 14 at Lake Eanes Park. Since 1901 reunions moved among Fleming Park Club Lake locations but since 1925 have gathered at Lake Eanes Park with the Cora Courthouse moved there in 1936. The note invites attendance to preserve local history and includes a reader letter from Rose Wilson Manning.
