Comanche County Democratic Convention Chooses Delegates
The Comanche County Democratic Convention met in the District Court room at the Courthouse on Saturday. It elected Ferguson Callaway and others as delegates to State Congressional and Judicial conventions, seated precinct delegates, and adjourned without dispute. The committee nominated delegates to State, Congressional, and Judicial seats with multiple names listed for each, and 19.45 dollars fare to the State Convention noted.

Comanche County Democratic Primary Returns Reported
The County Democratic Executive Committee met Saturday to examine the July 25 1914 primary votes showing 3073 ballots cast. Ferguson led governor with 263 majority. Submission 1003 to 879. officials listed include Lowdermilk McMillan Smith Carroll Cunningham Palmer and others with precinct officials named. The committee certified the high-vote candidates to the county clerk and noted the canvass completed August 1 1914.

The Cotton Belt Dairy Instruction Car will visit Comanche on Monday August 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will present lectures on silos dairying and dairy management.
