Comanche citizens urged to attend the opening day events with Mr. Norrell delivering an afternoon address. Norrell, former Chamber of Commerce secretary, now leads the War Savings Division sales department and is expected to share a message of broad interest.
Tuesday afternoon two Ford autos owned by E. B. Pate and Milas Williford collided at a street crossing in front of C. L. Cox s home. Each car carried four occupants and all were shaken up with windshields broken. one vehicle struck the curb and the other hit the forewheel. A high board fence hid the drivers from view and contributed to the crash.
