Fred Thorp Dwight Chandler and Max Johnson employees of Piggly Wiggly visited Fort Worth to take the United Merchandising Institute course on fresh fruits and vegetables display and merchandising at Ben E Keith Company offices. The course conducted by W L Blackstone of Kansas City was sponsored by United Merchandising Institute and United Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Association through a U S Department of Agriculture contract.

Stockmen Plan August Ranch Tour After Dinner Meeting
After a steak dinner at the North Side Cafe, Comanche County Livestock Association officers directors and guests met in the county courtroom to plan an August tour of the county’s best livestock. They also approved finishing the Livestock Building and sponsoring the Annual Junior Livestock Show. The tour will cover all livestock types with a committee of Barret Cara way Sr. Coffey.
