Comanche Urges Junior College For Local Students
J R Eanes writes that Comanche public schools are good but should be better and argues for a local junior college. He notes high outlays for area students to attend other towns, potential career paths, and benefits of keeping youth near home while finishing two-year studies. He cites El Paso as a model and cites Wichita Falls Hillsboro and Stamford planning junior colleges. He urges school board cooperation if the community supports the move.
