World War Veteran Fred Wright buried in Hamilton
Fred Wright a World War II veteran died in Kerrville Veterans Hospital on April 16. His remains were moved to Hamilton for burial with services at Hamilton Baptist Church led by Rev. Vernon Shaw and Elder Len Dalton. Union and Legion groups served as pallbearers and escorts. Wright, born February 2, 1888 in Burleson County, had lived east of Lamkin for a year and is survived by his widow Lannie Claton Wright and a son Fred Wright Jr.

Death of F J Reese former County Judge and Postmaster
F J Reese 65 longtime Comanche resident and former County Judge and Postmaster died at a Brownwood hospital Tuesday night from a gunshot wound at his residence in Comanche. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the local Baptist Church with Rev Gordon Barrett officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery. Survived by two sons Tom F Reese and Jim Eanes Reese.
