Texas proposal for split UT and A&M and new colleges
A constitutional amendment proposes separating the University of Texas from the Agricultural and Mechanical College, creating independent A&M in Brazos County and Prairie View as a branch, with a shared endowment plan and reallocation of land funds. It also establishes the College of Industrial Arts for White Girls in Denton and authorizes junior agricultural colleges under A and M governance. Public proclamation and July 1915 election required.
