Comanche Chief Senior Edition to Highlight 15-Year Tradition
The Comanche Chief, established in 1873, prepares its annual Senior Edition produced by Comanche High School seniors led by Jack Freeman as editor and Carl Filis associate editor with a staff including Kenneth Bain and Gene Vineyard. The piece notes Comanche High School’s long state affiliation, nearby colleges in Brownwood Stephenville and Tarleton, and Tarleton’s history and campus growth. It also mentions anticipated staffing changes if the Gilmer-Aiken bill passes and Comanche Public Schools hiring 5 or 6 more teachers next year.
