Merry Matrons and Other Bridge Club Tales in Comanche
Mrs. Chas McCollum hosts the Merry Matrons bridge group with high scores awarded to Mrs. C. V. Carver and Eugene Neely. Neely and other guests enjoy Neapolitan ice cream and cake as West Ward PTA and local clubs hold meetings and playful gatherings featuring 42, dancing, and birthday celebrations. The piece notes lectures by Mrs. L. C. Chamberlain and a Sunday school class masquerade party with Theda Bara and Galli-Cursi performances.
