Court of Criminal Appeals affirms 30 year murder sentence
A two to one decision by the Court of Criminal Appeals at Austin upholds A. M. White's 30 year term for the murder of P. H. Milton in Comanche County. The majority held that references to White as a bootlegger did not merit reversal and that the bill of exception failed to show jury presence. Judge Hawkins dissented. Milton was shot in front of his East Comanche home on January 20, 1933.
