Comanche FFA Rodeo Set For Friday And Saturday

Proctor Dam Dedication Draws Dignitaries and Visitors
More than 2 500 people gathered Saturday at Proctor Dam for the dedication program linking the Leon River project. Sixth Grade Intersquad Track Meet At Indian Memorial Stadium
On Tuesday April 21 the sixth grade intersquad track meet will be held at Indian Memorial Stadium starting at 6 p.m. A small admission charge will apply. Robber Holds Up Local Woman at Bait Stand
An armed robber with a gold tooth and white glove robbed Mrs. Fred Schrader, operator of a bait stand on South Austin, at about 3 45 Saturday afternoon April 1. He demanded change for a $10 bill, stole around $40, and warned her not to call police before fleeing. Police chief Roy McDonald investigated with no new developments reported.
