TP and L names farm adviser for Brownwood area
TP and L announces the appointment of Robert A Turner as farm service adviser for Brownwood Mineral Wells districts. He will assist farmers ranchers and ag agencies in Brown Comanche Hood Parker Jack and Palo Pinto counties to boost productive agriculture and maximize electricity use and appliance efficiency. Turner, raised on an Ellis County farm, holds a BS in animal husbandry from Texas Tech (1950) and a masters in Agricultural Education from Sam Houston State College with teaching and FFA credentials. He served three years in the U S Navy Seabees during World War II including time on Juam.
