The Executive Committee of the Old Settlers announces a 5 oclock Monday meeting to plan a July reunion. All other committees are asked to join that date to finalize arrangements. Names of committees will be published soon and all interested are welcome to participate.
The Hebron school closed last Friday under Mr. Mert Sullivan amid a large community turnout. Comanche residents, schoolmates, and local figures attended the exercises, with Supt. Jen Holloway and speakers delivering remarks. A key afternoon game drew notable participants and featured a 13 to pool score, highlighting a year of effort by students and staff.
Those supporting the present administration are reminded of a Colquitt Club meeting this afternoon at the courthouse. Governor Browning is scheduled to speak at that hour. The call urges patriotism and enthusiasm to elect Colquitt to a second term.

Comanche April 7 1912 editor I see in your last issue someone in the county has a dining table that is fifty years old I claim the oldest dining table in Comanche county and in the state except heirlooms I have a six leg solid walnut table bought in St Louis in spring 1832 in continuous use since then It stood in a dining room eighty years ready to do the work It has never been in any fires but was in the flood of April 17 1908 If any reader has an older table we are from Missouri and will have to be shown.
