Recall of early Comanche County life by J N Boyde
In 1883 J N Boyde recalls Unchoctaw Robinson and his son Obe in Comanche County. He remembers his father's gin and mill at Evergreen, Choctaw’s work as a minister, the family’s hardships after the mother’s death, and Obe’s dedication to raising eleven children. He notes Obe served as pastor for a year at a nearby church near Gustine.
