Plaintiffs allege that in 1918 defendant leased their land via a false Prairie Oil and Gas Company scheme. They seek cancellation of the lease, removal of a cloud on title, and damages of 2410.00 plus costs, naming A J Lloyd clerk and W D Carroll deputy in Comanche County court.
The State of Texas issues a citation by publication to W H Roeser a non resident of Texas. The petition in case No 4921 filed 18 March 1919 by Fred Feril as guardian for Eldon and Ormal Feril seeks release of oil and gas leases covering 100 and 800 acres. The court requires appearance at the next district term on April 21 1919 in Comanche Texas to answer and present evidence or face secondary proof. The leased lands are described by boundary references in Comanche County deed records and the defendant is urged to produce the instruments or their contents.
