Catfish Research Ties Texas A M and Power Company
Texas A M University and Texas Power and Light fund a seven year study on whisker fish farming at TP&L Trinidad Station. About 100000 fingerlings in the discharge canal aim to yield over two million pounds annually, with growth from 5 inch to market size in four to ten months. Proceeds fund further catfish research. TP&L does not seek profits or a commercial fish business.
