Atlanta March 24 Dr J D Grey opens The Baptist Hour with Consider Jesu Sunday. He is first chosen to preach a 13 week series. Grey, pastor of First Baptist Church New Orleans, also leads The Gospel Hour on WSMB and broadcasts three services weekly. He holds multiple church and seminary leadership roles and will preach during April to June on a 70 station network.
Sipe Springs Home Demonstration Club met Friday afternoon March 25 with Mrs Joe Jeans as hostess. Mrs Ruby Wyatt presided. twenty nine members and six visitors attended. Winnie Anderson led a discussion on Accidents in the Home. A wedding shower for Mr and Mrs Frank Whitlock Jr followed. Next meeting set with Mrs Roy Boswell on April 8.
