Community update listing visits and meetings at Colville and Kettle Falls. Includes PTA and Benevolent Society schedules, church events, Thanksgiving activities, care of ill residents, travel notices, and local business notes on banking, elections, and a parcel post laundry service.
Notice is given that the partnership between J. W. Slagle and J. H. Slagle of Slagle Bros. is dissolved by mutual consent. J. W. Slagle will run the Republi Drug Store in Republic Washington and settle firm affairs. J. H. Slagle will run the Kettle Falls Drug Company in Kettle Falls Washington and settle firm affairs. Dated November 11, 1914.

D A Setzer attends his brother’s funeral in Colville. A gravel crew smooths the road south of town for winter.
Covada Mr. Bradley, owner at Meteor Mine, leads a camp of workers to begin operations. A Terpning brother and wife arrive, while Mrs. Curry learns her late husband’s unpublished works may be published. Dean’s Ointment advertised for skin itch and related ailments.
Susan McClung aged 92, a Clayborn Tennessee native and fifty year Pacific Northwest pioneer, died at her daughter Mollie Donovan’s home near Canada. She leaves several grown children including Mrs A W Bascom and Mrs John Keough of Colville, Mrs M Ferguson of Cheney, and Dan McClung of Canada. Burial was at Colville.
Public auctions set for January 5 and January 6 1915 in Colville Washington for timber and state lands. Appraisals range from 874.50 to 1581.00 dollars with minimum bids at appraised value. Payments required in cash on sale day amid easement provisions and schoolhouse site reservation.
