New Train Added to Great Northern No More Trains, Booze Run Crashes
A new independent booze special on the Great Northern collided head on with a Great Northern engine two miles north of Loon Lake. The one car 1921 Dodge with alcohol 40 to 50 cases toppled into a ditch. Two men vanished, 15 quarts remain, liquor likely stolen. Deputy Ledgerwood found bottles. railway held the wreck for federal seizure.

Strong Catches Trout On Snow In Colville
M R Strong spent Tuesday afternoon catching trout on the snow after snow slid off the Colville Implement Co building. Cold runoff sent trout two to five inches along the bank, which he placed back into the stream. City streams feeding the Colville river host annual juvenile fishing.

Models wore morning noon and night attire led by Mrs Glen Crews Mrs R B Keller Addy Miss Selah Burgess and Miss Marie Anderson. A Sinclair Penney manager supervised while C V Baird directed tableaux and a five piece orchestra led by Prof M W Meyer provided music.

Phosphorus causes slow, painful death lasting one to two days and is discouraged. strychnine acts quickly and is less harmful to birds. Druggists are advised not to stock phosphorus as the law prohibits its use.
