Beginners Band Practicing Several Nights a Week in Colville
A forty piece band is being developed in Colville under Prof. M. W. Meyer. The regular band meets Tuesday. the fifteen member beginners band practices in sections on different weeknights. The beginners include three saxophones four clarinets two Melaphones trombones tubas and drums. A euphonium with double bells from Frank Holton is used by Carl Hard and is first of its kind in Colville. The aim is to advance beginners toward joining the regular band for summer work and improve overall proficiency.
