North Bend wins Red Cross seal drive lecture prize
The Washington Association for the Prevention and Relief of Tuberculosis honors North Bend for the town with the largest per capita sale of Red Cross Christmas seals. Statewide gross receipts total about $4,200, to be spent on tuberculosis work and association education. The group offers lecturers and information services from its Seattle office.
