Democratic convention in Colville endorses Turner speech
A large Stevens county Democratic gathering in Colville selected delegates to the Seattle state convention and approved a platform reaffirming Jeffersonian democracy under Wilson. Warren W. Tolman addressed the crowd on congressional action, while Judge W W Black campaigned for senator and a local candidate, W L Robinson, was endorsed for commissioner after cross‑party support from Hunters Boosters and Fruitland Farmers League.
